Come join us on September 28 at Hanover Fire Hall for a night of great entertainment! Spaghetti dinner served at 5 PM, followed by the free show.

We received the following note recently:  “Dear Pastor Ellis, We’d like you to know that you and your church were our Presbytery “Church of the Week” on Sunday August 25th.  You and the church were prayed for that morning during our worship services.  We hope you felt and continue to feel God’s presence in your ministry.  Sincerely, New Covenant EPC (New Castle, PA).”  Great idea!  Let’s pray for them this week!

God works in many ways including through our website!  We received a message through our website from Graystone Presbyterian Church in Indiana, PA.  This 200 year old congregation is very close to Indiana University of PA and has a ministry to college students with over 60 weekly in worship and a weekly Christian fellowship for students.  The prayer request was for their congregational meeting, today at 3 p.m. where they will vote, just like we did, on whether or not to leave the PC(USA).  Please keep these brothers and sisters in Christ in prayer this afternoon.

It is Sunday, September 29 from 5-6 p.m.  Join us to pray for each other, our community and Christ’s Kingdom to come on Earth as it is in Heaven!

Please pray for Jeff & Natasha Bain and their little ones A.J. and Sofia.  They serve in Russia and ask for prayer for the national church in Russia to be healthy and growing, for new language acquisition and maintenance of current skills, and for strong relationships in the national staff and between them and nationals.

Please pray for Rob & Iris and their children Stephanie, Peter, and Marissa.  Pray for them to have wisdom in overseeing ongoing church planting efforts in Central Asia with Frontiers as they coach several teams and make regular visits, and for Iris’ Bible translation work, Rob’s work with EPC World Outreach, and the children for their daily walk with God to be “light and salt” in their schools.

Deacons meet Tuesday (10th) at 6 p.m.

Session meets Tuesday (10th) at 6:30 p.m.

Come have a “last blast of summer” at the Promise Camp Sunday, September 8 from 1-4 p.m.
